What Do We Believe?

God:

We believe that God exists in three distinct persons (the Trinity). God the Father - Creator of all, God the Son - Jesus Christ the risen Savior, and God the Holy Spirit - who dwells in those who have welcomed Him in through accepting God’s gift of salvation.

The Bible:

We believe that though the Bible was physically written by people, it was inspired by God's Holy Spirit. We take the Bible at its word and it helps determine how we live our lives as believers. We believe that though it was written thousands of years ago, the Bible still applies to our lives in the here and now.

Mankind:

We believe that we were created in the image of God and our purpose on His earth is to glorify Him in all we do. Sin separated us from God and we believe that without Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, mankind has no hope of salvation or heaven.

Jesus Christ:

When He came to earth, He was fully man and fully God. He lived a life free from sin and in fulfilling God’s plan, was crucified to pay for the punishment of our sins. This payment allows for God to offer His forgiveness of sins freely and openly to all who ask for it, because of His great mercy. We believe Christ was resurrected from the dead and is residing with His Father in heaven until the day He returns for His church.

Salvation:

We believe that we are saved by grace, through faith. Out of God’s abundant grace, He forgives all those who put their faith in Him. This is done by admitting to and asking for forgiveness of your sins and believing that Christ’s death and resurrection were the payment for that sin.

The Christian Life:

We believe that as Christians, our lives are to be lived in a way that brings glory to God. He has given us dominion over the earth and as such, we are to be good stewards of all that He has created and given to us. We believe that we were created for fellowship and relationship and that part of glorifying God is loving and serving others as we are able.
