Summer 2026 - sensory
Everything we learn comes in through our senses—they are our tools for discovery. The more we use different senses, the better our senses can work together, and the better we are able to focus and make sense of what we learn. This Summer, our curriculum is designed to help each child strengthen and balance their senses in the most stimulating and soothing classroom of all—the great outdoors.
Summer classes come with the flexibility needed for all the fun this season brings! Choose as few as 4 classes, attend for the full 8-class season, or any amount in between! The first 4 classes will be on Wednesdays at our East Clayton location and the last 4 classes will be on Thursdays at the Southwest Clayton location.

What does a class look like?
Arrival - Explore our outdoor classroom while we wait for our friends to arrive!
Opening circle - We sing a few songs, learn about our featured creature for the week, and hunt for our invitation to play!
Guided play - Explorers (kiddos) take the lead in solving the problem or meeting the challenge presented in our invitation alongside their guide (grown-up). This play time may include things like a sensory experience, a craft, an obstacle course, a story, or various stations to try out new skills and activities!
Closing circle - We reflect on our playtime, look forward to the next weeks class, encourage continued outdoor play at home, and sing our “Thank You Song” as we part ways.
Meet Ms. Jessica!
Jessica is thrilled to be joining Tiny Seeds to continue leading classes for our little explorers and their guides! After graduating with an undergraduate degree in theatre and a Master's in Education, she spent several years in the classroom teaching preschool, 1st grade, and high school, before segwaying into teaching online. After her daughter was born in 2022, she began to focus on nurturing her love of the outdoors to encourage a childhood centered around play-based learning. After joining classes as a “guide” for over a year, Jessica is excited to have the opportunity to keep spreading the love of learning as a teacher!
